What we can't help with
We can't do your homework for you (the calculators will happily show you the method, though) and we can't give advice on performing chemistry experiments — please ask your teacher or lab supervisor.
Reporting a chemistry-data error
The most valuable messages we get are corrections. If a number or fact looks wrong, a good report helps us verify and fix it quickly. Please tell us:
- Where you saw it — the exact page, such as a specific element (for example Iron), a calculator, or a study guide. Pasting the page URL is ideal.
- The affected value or claim — the property, formula result, or statement you believe is incorrect, and what you expected instead.
- A source, if you have one — a reference such as IUPAC, NIST, PubChem or the RSC lets us confirm the correct value without guesswork.
You're also welcome to suggest a new tool or study topic, flag a broken link, or ask how a particular calculator arrives at its answer. Every correction is checked against authoritative chemistry references before we update the underlying data files, so accuracy — not speed — guides what we change.
Please don't include sensitive personal information in your message; a page URL and a short description of the problem are all we need.
