About the Element Name Quiz
This is the reverse of the symbol quiz: you see a chemical symbol and choose the element it stands for. It is the skill you use every time you read a formula or an equation, where elements appear only as their symbols. The confusing pairs are worth memorising — Sn is tin (not selenium, which is Se), K is potassium, Sb is antimony and W is tungsten. Ten shuffled questions per round and three difficulty levels let you push from the everyday elements up to the less familiar ones, with an explanation shown after each choice.
